Academies of Nashville Awards
The Academies of Nashville Awards annually recognize excellence demonstrated by business partners, teachers, principals, and other stakeholders within Metro’s high schools and academies. Held annually in April/May; by invitation only.
Chamber members and Partnership 2020 investors gather annually to celebrate the successes of our region, recognize outstanding volunteers with the “Spirit of the Chamber” Awards, and to hear the vision for the coming year as we continue to facilitate community leadership to create economic prosperity. Held annually in September/October.
Area Advisory Council Events
Area Advisory Councils are communities that gather to address business-specific issues affecting prosperity in Davidson County. Groups are organized geographically and include councils in the north, south, east, west and midtown areas of Nashville. Events held monthly. See our event calendar for upcoming events.
Business After Hours
These trade-show-style events provide the opportunity for members to make valuable new business contacts in a relaxed, social setting. Attendees may choose to purchase a display table to market their business or attend and network with other attendees. Held 1-3 times per year.
Business Studio Events
This resource center for small and midsized businesses is designed to help companies build a business, connect with customers and discover new ideas through workshops, networking opportunities and business matchmaking tools. Events held monthly; see our event calendar for upcoming events.
Education Report Card
This event is a culmination of the work of a diverse group of business and community representatives who have evaluated the progress of Nashville's public school system and released a detailed report on their findings and suggested solutions for improvement. Held annually in December.
The governor of Tennessee is invited to share insights and updates about the state's economy and business environment. This event also provides the opportunity for Chamber members to share their thoughts on current issues. Held annually in January/February.
International Business Council Events
These events educate, cultivate relationships, promote and engage local businesses within Middle Tennessee's international business community, creating more opportunities for foreign direct investment. Held at various times throughout the year.
The Leadership Connect program is an exclusive opportunity for area small business owners to engage more with the Nashville community and become engaged leaders. Throughout the six-month-long program, a small class of entrepreneurs comes together to learn from each other and top area leaders on how to become more involved in building the Nashville community. Applications to participate are accepted in the fall each year.
Leadership Study Mission
A launchpad for tackling issues facing the Middle Tennessee community and business leaders in the near- and long-term by traveling as a group to another U.S. city to examine best practices and lessons learned. Held annually in April/May; minimum membership investment required.
Information sessions over lunch for new members and new employees of existing members outlining the advantages of Chamber membership. Held monthly.
Moving Forward Speaker Series
As part of the Moving Forward initiative, these events bring nationally recognized transportation experts to educate members on the future of transit in the region. Held at various times throughout the year.
Nashville Emerging Leader Awards (NELAs)
The NELAs recognize young professionals in 15 industry classifications who are excelling in their careers and making a difference in the Nashville community. Held annually in July or August.
Pick Your Place
This informal, open-house-style event allows Chamber members the opportunity to meet Chamber staff and learn about engagement and involvement opportunities. Held annually in August.
An invitation-only, high-level, peer-to-peer networking opportunity led by the Chamber's president/CEO for the top executives of companies investing at or above our Community Builder membership level. Held twice a year; minimum membership investment required.
Talent Solutions Forum
The Talent Solutions Forum is quarterly convenings designed to inform and inspire employer participation in talent pipeline solutions. Each Talent Solutions Forum will center around relevant research and solutions for employers to engage with the education, community and government agencies, and other employers in regional and employer-based talent supply solutions.
Following the yearlong work of an action team comprised of business and community leaders, this event presents the Nashville Region’s Vital Signs report that identifies the assets and challenges of our region and defines a plan to develop solutions to improve economic vitality and quality of life. Held annually on the first Tuesday in October.
YP Nashville Connect
Display booths will be staffed by members of more than 25 young professional organizations that are a part of YP Nashville so you can learn about the benefits and offerings of their organization. Young professionals will find where they can get connected and involved in the Nashville area. Held annually in January.
YP Nashville Leadership Series
Half- and full-day leadership sessions aim to connect, engage and empower you - our future leaders - to actively shape the future of the Nashville region. Speakers will provide you with the tools and resources to expand your career and build upon your leadership skills. Held twice a year in the fall and spring.
