Governor Lee announces Tennessee Business Relief program


On June 2, 2020, Governor Bill Lee and members of the Financial Stimulus Accountability Group announced a new $200 million grant program for Tennessee small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Governor Lee has directed the Tennessee Department of Revenue to issue business relief payments through the Tennessee Business Relief Program to small businesses for costs incurred as a result of mandatory business closures. The grants will be funded with federal relief dollars, and they will be available to small businesses in dozens of different industries.
