MNPS working to improve student academic achievement through ReimaginED initiative
Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is a diverse and vibrant school system comprised of more than 84,000 students in grades Pre K - 12. MNPS continually strives to find and implement innovative solutions that provide students with quality Pre K-12 experience and opportunities for growth.
Through the ReimaginED initiative, MNPS is embarking on a comprehensive planning process to thoroughly review student academic achievement, current and projected enrollment, building use, programs and staffing, and more. Using the information gathered, MNPS will create a plan on how to best improve academic outcomes for all students. ReimaginED also includes studying new ways to use community partnerships and warp-around services to strengthen school communities, and provide additional training and professional development opportunities for leaders and teachers.
MNPS staff are hosting three virtual cluster-specific community meetings to help Nashville residents better understand the goal of ReimaginED and what to expect in the future.
- Maplewood Cluster Community Meeting - Monday, June 1 at 6 p.m.
- Pearl-Cohn Cluster Community Meeting - Tuesday, June 2 at 6 p.m.
- Whites Creek Cluster Community Meeting - Thursday, June 4 at 6 p.m.
