Nashville Area Chamber's Music Advisory Group

The music industry is one of the Nashville region's most significant economic drivers, fueling the hospitality and tourism sectors, as well as our creative economy. The Nashville Area Chamber's Music Industry Advisory Group allows members to connect with other music-related businesses while providing insights on how the Chamber can best support music-industry members. Not only does the Music Industry Advisory Group help those already in the music industry, but it also serves as a resource for those looking to get involved and learn more about everything Music City has to offer.

The Music Industry Advisory Group was created in 2017, after a small group of music-related Chamber members gathered to identify how the Chamber could better serve those working in the music industry. The advisory group started with 12 members, but has now grown to more than 180 people. The group consists of a wide variety of music industry professionals, from entrepreneurs to established executives, as well as musicians and those that work in the general music realm.

The Music Industry Advisory Group has also been instrumental in growing the Nashville Area Chamber's membership of music-related businesses and has further developed the Chamber's ability to assist those looking to get involved in the music industry. Before the advisory group was created, the Nashville Area Chamber had 68 music-related members. That number has grown to more than 190 music-related members, representing 8% of the Chamber's total membership today.
