The holidays are here and Nashville is a city known for its festive spirit and many holiday events. In the midst of planning season, it can sometimes be difficult to determine the right spot for your holiday soiree. Whether you’re planning the office ugly sweater party or a black-tie New Year’s Eve gala, Music City is sure to make your event sing. This month we offer a round-up of great locations for your next event.

For most planners, budget is the first element of planning that needs to be confirmed.  Once those details are set, finding the perfect location is the next step. The beauty of Music City is the diversity of locations that will fit any budget or style. Taking the annual holiday festivities out of the office and planning your event at a unique location is a great way to make wonderful memories. Here are some of our favorites around town.

RESTAURANTS

Restaurants can be a great option for large groups. Many of them have private dining space or offer options for buyouts. Often, restaurants will also offer everything that a planner needs in one space, eliminating the need for additional rental of tables, chairs, linens, etc.

Deacon’s New South: Deacon’s New South is one of the newer members of the Nashville dining scene. With a focus on dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and an extensive wine program, Deacon’s has quickly become beloved by locals and visitors alike. The restaurant’s sleek design makes a beautiful setting for holiday events. From the private dining room that seats 15 to a full buyout for 200, Deacon’s makes holiday events sparkle.

Jeff Ruby’s Steak House: Delivering the ultimate dining experience has been paramount to defining the Jeff Ruby experience. Rich, vibrant decor speaks to a modern interpretation of a bygone era. The cuisine is a unique blend of exquisitely prepared steaks, seafood, and sushi, while the bar is the perfect location for people-watching the titans of industry in Nashville.  Elegant private dining spaces create a festive atmosphere, ideal for an elevated holiday gathering.  Groups of 10 – 66 will find a sophisticated home for the holidays.

Southern Steak & Oyster: For an easy-going atmosphere with southern-inspired cuisine, look no further than The Southern Steak and Oyster. The menu is described having influences from “South of Somewhere” with great dishes that include influences from the southern United States, as well as the Caribbean, and hints of European specialties. Featuring a wood-fired grill, locally grown produce, and a state-of-the-art, shuck-to-order oyster bar, The Southern is perfect for a holiday gathering. The private dining space comfortably accommodates a seated dinner for 60 or a reception for 75 guests.

Sunda Nashville: Celebrating the many diverse cultures of Southeast Asia, this new spot in the Gulch is a feast for the senses and the spirit. Classic dishes receive a modern upgrade creating a new experience of the familiar. Available for groups of 15 or more, the team has become known for great service with the goal of creating tremendous events.
