5 reasons you should vote early for transit

Early voting is a great option for many Nashville voters but it’s only available through Thursday, April 26. Here are just a few reasons why you should vote early for transit.

  1. Convenience: Vote at any of the early voting polling locations, especially if an early voting location is more convenient than your home precinct.
  2. Time: You already wait in traffic! Don’t wait in line at the polls on May 1! Avoid the potential of long wait times at the polls by voting on your schedule.
  3. Security: Ensure that your vote will count by voting early and eliminating the possibility that other circumstances, like car trouble, sick family members or another emergency, could keep you from getting to the polls on May 1.
  4. Good peer pressure: Show off your “I voted” sticker to friends and family, which could encourage them to hit the polls as well.
  5. Pride: Feel pride for our city, state and country when you participate in the most patriotic civic duty of all: voting.

While voting on May 1 will be just as impactful, voting early can make it easier to make your voice heard on transit. Vote at one of the following locations by 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26.
