In fact, women entrepreneurs have been a boon to the Nashville area economy. In a 2015 study, the Chamber’s Research Center found that there are 4,756 women-owned businesses in the Nashville area. These businesses employ over 41,000 workers and contribute more than $1.6 billion to the local economy.
