How hubNashville Can Help You Connect with Metro Government

In October, Mayor Megan Barry announced a new, comprehensive customer service platform for Nashville and Davidson County residents.

hubNashville functions as a one-stop system for residents to address concerns and easily get in touch with a Metro representative.

The platform aims to allow anyone with a question to call and get help without having to know which department they need to contact. The online component, hub.nashville.gov, serves as an extension of the 311 or 615-862-5000 call center that connects residents with trained operators that can direct their concerns or questions to the correct department.

How can residents use the new system?

Users can request trash and recycling service, report potholes and illegal dumping and alert officials to right of way overgrowth or needed sign and signal repairs directly from the online portal using the “Top Service Requests” section of the website.

The website also contains a searchable database that answers questions like:

“Is there a community center in my neighborhood?”

“How do I know who my Council member is and what Council district I live in?”

“What does it cost to ride the bus?”

However, more unique requests or questions can also be submitted online or over the phone.

We believe this tool is a great way for Nashville and Davidson County residents to be more informed about what’s going on in the region. When people are informed, they are empowered to participate more in the community. These engaged community members effect the changes necessary to continue making the region a great place to call home. This resource is available in English and Spanish to better serve the diverse community of Davidson County.
