Congratulations to Our 2016 Next Award Winners

Since the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Entrepreneur Center launched the Next Awards in 2010, Middle Tennessee has emerged as one of the strongest, most vibrant and most creative economies in the nation.

At the sixth annual Next Awards on Nov. 17, we honored outstanding teams in our region’s most influential business sectors: digital media & entertainment, health care, technology, social enterprise & sustainability, and products & services. New for this year, we introduced the Intrapreneurial Company of the Year, Business Culture and Game-Changer Awards. Along with these category awards, individual awards were given for Funder of the Year, Mentor of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of 2016 and Entrepreneur of 2016.

Also, for the first time, we invited people to vote online for their favorite Next finalist to determine the winner of the Nashville's Choice Award. The winner, with more than 84,000 votes, was Groups360, a company which provides data and analytics to meeting planners and hoteliers to optimize choices for conventions, meetings and group travel. We received more than 323,500 total votes for Nashville's Choice.
